Italian Turkey Burger recipe- healthy turkey burgers

Ingredients (we are somewhat liberal with spices and try to use an even amount of each)-

  1. 1 lb of ground turkey
  2. 1 whole egg
  3. 1/4 cup of gluten free Italian breadcrumbs
  4. dried minced onion
  5. minced garlic
  6. Basil
  7. Rosemary (can also use an Italian seasoning blend)
  8. Sea salt
  9. Cracked pepper
  10. 1 TBSP of Parmesan cheese


  1. Mix all ingredients together in large bowl, to ensure the mixture is consistent
  2. Form into 1/2 inch thick patties or portion size of your desire.  The thicker the burger, the longer it will take to cook
  3. Grill on medium high over direct heat for 4-5 minutes per side

Notes: These are tasty with cheese on top and pasta sauce to taste.  You can serve these with pasta or risotto
