I quickly learned with David: do not try to negate his expertise and knowledge of the fitness industry. (I tried, believe me.) David works very hard for his clients and expects the same from them. He takes the time to explain how to perform each exercise and which muscle group is being worked. He also gives you the tools and information on how weight training, along with proper diet and cardio, have to work together to turn the body into a fat-burning, muscle-building machine. He provides the support and motivation needed to push through on those days when I was just so tired. He really does make me want to work harder. I am not sure how it works, but it does.

I have been training with David for 9 months and have seen tremendous results. I first started weight training with him by winning a contest he promoted. He provided 4 months of training absolutely free. (He never let me forget it!). I had no intention of continuing training beyond the free training sessions. Nine months later, I am still training (not free) and it is worth every penny! When I started, my goal was strictly to lose weight. I had no idea what was in store for me, I just knew I needed to change so winning the contest was the greatest thing to happen for me. I had done ok on my own by losing almost 80lbs but I hadn’t lost any weight for about 6 weeks despite the fact I was working out 5 days a week.

Mine has been a long physical and mental journey but I appreciate all of the time and energy David has put forth to change my original goal of just to lose weight to now wanting to build a muscular, toned body that I can be proud of. It takes tremendous time, effort and patience, but I know someday I will achieve success, thanks to David!

My journey is not over, but the results are a true testament to the hard work with David. To date my training with David has resulted in an additional weight loss of 70lbs in just 9 months! It took me over 1.5 years to lose the first 80-lbs on my own! I have also lost inches- 10 inches waist, 11 inches hips, 2 inches arms, 3 inches thighs.

I could have never achieved the success I have without David, and yes, he is always right!

UPDATE: 10/18/11

I have been training with David for over  three and a half years! I have lost an additional 15 lbs. and have gained a wealth of knowledge about weight training and nutrition. David currently monitors my diet logs and training plans. David helped me work out a training and nutrition plan when I decided to run a half marathon. I ran  the half and managed to also run a 5k and a 10k within a 3 month time frame.  David is supportive and is willing to assist with my crazy ideas in my quest to be fit and at the same time how to keep my goals realistic.  My next goal- bodybuilding, I hope to take myself from ordinary to extraordinary!
